Encouraging and Equipping Women
to Be Transformed by God's Word
The women of Willoughby Bible Church hail from all walks and seasons of life, but share a passion for pursuing God's plan in our lives. If you're looking for encouragement in your faith journey, need help growing closer to God, or simply want to enjoy fellowship with like-minded ladies, we invite you to join us.
All are welcome at His table, so all are welcome at ours.
Women's Bible Study
Join us every first and third Wednesday of the month as we study God's word!
Our spring study, Journey to the Cross: Understanding the Heart and Mission of Jesus, will look closely at Jesus’ last week leading up to the Crucifixion. Through this study, we'll explore the deep longings of Jesus' heart and the mission He came to accomplish. Join us as we discover how the passionate love of God moved Jesus to enter the sufferings of humankind and endure the Cross on our behalf.

Missions & Outreach
Living Life on Mission with WMU
Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU), an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention, is dedicated to making disciples of Jesus who live on mission.
WMU desires to see all ages energized, motivated, and equipped for missions. The organization provides discipleship resources for churches and individuals, opportunities to engage with compassion ministries, and leadership development experiences.
Join WMU at Willoughby Bible Church for an upcoming discussion to learn more about living on mission.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
Now through the end of April, WBC will be collecting for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. 100% of the proceeds for this special offering are used to fund missions and church planting across North America, in honor of Annie Armstrong.
Born in Baltimore in 1850, Annie Armstrong was a passionate servant of Jesus Christ. She lived in a time when there was very little opportunity for women, yet used her voice to speak up for the poor and for Southern Baptist missionaries around the world.
Annie helped start the Woman's National Missionary Union (now WMU) and served as its first executive leader. She organized women to pray, to give, and to meet the needs of those around them. She challenged pastors and churches to action and rallied vital support for missionaries. She wrote 18,000 letters in just one year and traveled across America, encouraging missionaries and inspiring churches to pray, give, and act.
In 1934, near the end of Annie's life, this special offering was named in her honor. Today, more than $2 billion has been donated by Southern Baptist churches and individuals to support thousands of missionaries in church planting and compassion ministries. Because of this sacrificial giving, millions of lives have been and continue to be transformed by the power of the gospel.

Special Offerings

God Has a Plan for You
God’s offer of grace and blessing is available to everyone, regardless of where we come from or past mistakes we’ve made. We all stand on equal ground, with the same promises in the Lord Jesus Christ. His message is for all, and it is in Him that we discover who we are and what we live for.
At Willoughby Bible Church, we believe in helping people become authentic followers of Christ. And our hope is that through studying God's word, gathering with like-minded believers, and praying with and for one another, we will all be inspired to go out into the world with a greater sense of purpose and significance in God's perfect plan.

"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.'" - Jeremiah 29:11
